Colorimetry is a specialised technique used to assess and prescribe precision-tinted lenses that can help reduce visual stress. Visual stress is a term used to describe discomfort and difficulty reading, which can negatively affect concentration levels and comprehension.

We offer coloured overlay assessments in all our branches. This is a simpler test to determine whether you suffer with visual stress and if coloured overlays can help to      improve reading comfort and speed. If a coloured overlay proves helpful, further testing with a colorimeter can refine the tint for prescription lenses.
